Gale
Force FAQs
Q:
What is the Gale Force?
A: It is a after-market drop-in board for the Brass Eagle™ Rainmaker™
board. It gives the user enhanced modes of fire, along with the
ease of trigger-programming.
| Q:
Does it support an LED? |
A: Yes, we will wire up an LED on request, but installation (drilling)
would be up to you to do.
| Q:
Does it support an Anti-Chop eye?
A: Yes, it will support either the Timberwolf style or KM2 style
of eye sensors. But must be custom installed by Doc or Timberwolf.
| Q:
Can I install this myself? |
A: Easily, it fits in exactly where the old board went, without
modification of any kind. As long as you have a pushbutton-type
switch. (See next question)
| Q:
Can this be added to any Rainmaker™? |
A: Yes and no. It will run in any rainmaker but only drops into
ones with the pushbutton switch. It will NOT run a lever-switch
type without modification by an airsmith.
| Q:
Will you modify my lever-switch Rainmaker™ to use the Gale Force? |
A: Yes, we will install a microswitch if you send your gun and
$25 for return postage. However it won't be pretty, as you can see
in the above picture I epoxied the switch in place. It works extremely
well, it's just ugly.
Q:
I don't want it ugly. What can I do?
A: I am fairly certain that Timberwolf or Doc will do custom installs,
but you will have to ask them about price and availability.
| Q:
How much does it cost? |
A: $95 + $8 for FedEx 3-day or $20 for FedEx overnight.
| Q:
How do I order one? |
A: send check or money-order to: 488 Kennesaw Ave, suite B Marietta,
GA, 30060 along with a note detailing what you are ordering.

| Switch 6 |

| Q:
How does turbo work, and what is the criteria for getting extra shots? |
A: Turbo fires additional shots (1 extra for each 2 trigger pulls)
whenever it senses the trigger being pulled faster than twice per
second. This is the result of a precise computer program and NOT
switch bounce. You always get the extra shot, and never more than
3 for 2 (total).
| Q:
What is dwell, and what good does it to to change? |
| A: Dwell is the amount of time the MAC valve is held
open. With the way this gun fires it makes no difference to velocity,
but the lower it can be set, the faster the Rate of fire can be set
to (in general) |
